Description CDL-B Vehicle Operation:

Safely operate a Class B commercial motor vehicle (rear-load or side-load) through residential neighborhoods and narrow municipal streets.

In-Cab Route Protocol:

Adhere to the safety policy of remaining in the truck at all times while on the collection route. The driver will not exit the vehicle for roadside pickups.

Post-Route Site Labor:

Upon returning to the township building or job site, assist in emptying bins and transferring waste into dumpsters. This requires the ability to lift/maneuver objects weighing up to 50-75 lbs.

Compliance & Inspections:

Perform required DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition (checking fluids, brakes, and hydraulics).

Documentation:

Maintain accurate daily logs of mileage, fuel, and disposal weights as required by municipal standards.

Licensure:

Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL-B) with an air brake endorsement.

Medical:

Must have a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Safety Record:

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a commitment to strict safety.

Experience:
