Job Description
www.bv.org/careers Join our vibrant community... Brethren Village Retirement Community, in Lititz, PA, is seeking reliable Drivers for part-time employment. A class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger endorsement is required. The Driver safely operates Brethren Village vehicles, including shuttle buses and/or our Medical Van, to transport Residents throughout the Brethren Village campus, as well as off-campus. The Driver picks-up and drops-off Residents on his/her route and according to schedule. The Driver also transports groups of Residents to off-campus events. The Driver assists Residents to get on and off the bus as needed, and assists with loading and unloading Residents' packages. The Driver consistently interacts with Residents and co-workers in a polite, friendly, and helpful manner, and is able to effectively manage a busy schedule. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required - class C with a Passenger endorsement - as well as a driving record free from excessive or serious violation, and verification of personal auto insurance. As a condition of continued employment, the Driver must successfully complete periodic driver training, random drug and alcohol testing, periodic physical exams, and other requirements per Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
