PRN Transportation Driver - Healthcare Setting We are seeking a dependable and compassionate PRN Transportation Driver to support our healthcare team by safely transporting patients/residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and facility‑approved outings. This flexible, as‑needed role is ideal for someone who values safety, service, and patient dignity. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to transport patients/residents to scheduled healthcare appointments Provide assistance with boarding, exiting, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices Follow all healthcare safety protocols, including infection‑control guidelines Maintain vehicle cleanliness, complete pre‑trip safety checks, and report any concerns Ensure accurate documentation of trips, mileage, and patient interactions Deliver friendly, respectful customer service to patients, families, and staff Required Vehicle Operation & Training This position requires drivers to operate multiple vehicle types , including all wheelchair lift systems. Applicants must be willing and able to safely drive the following: Wheelchair Van with Lift Wheelchair Bus with Lift Transportation Bus Transit Van Scion Drivers must complete required online training (UZRC), successfully pass a driver road test, and demonstrate proper wheelchair lift operation for each vehicle. Only after all training, testing, and vehicle‑specific lift requirements are successfully completed will a driver be authorized to operate vehicles for resident transportation.
