Professional Driver/Moving Crew Leader

Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Lead a moving crew by coordinating loading, unloading, and securing items using pad wrapping techniques, straps, hand trucks and other moving equipment. Load and unload household or commercial goods efficiently while managing heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries. Drive route-specific schedules to ensure timely delivery and pickup of items across designated locations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the move. Supervise team members during moving operations, assigning tasks, monitoring safety practices, and maintaining high productivity levels. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory for each move. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on route driving in various environments. Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during stressful moving situations. Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and equipment.. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards for box trucks and other large vehicles. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with moving procedures, including load & unload techniques and proper handling of fragile or valuable items. $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
