As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional paving and excavation services by ensuring timely and safe transportation of materials. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for reliability and quality. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks safely and efficiently. Ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours. Communicate effectively with site foremen regarding delivery schedules. Assist with minor vehicle maintenance and report any issues promptly. Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and operational procedures. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a truck driver with knowledge of various truck types (e.g., tractor-trailer, flatbed). Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Excellent navigation skills with familiarity of Central Pennsylvania roadways.
