General Purpose of Position:

The Driver is knowledgeable and responsible for the safe transport of medically complex children to and from their home to a PPEC center setting. The Driver completes all vehicle inspections, maintains records/reports, and operates the transport vehicle cautiously while compliant with all state and federal regulations.

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

Valid State Driver's License required. Clean driving record. Active BLS/CPR Current and annual TB PPD and screening. Be able to successfully passscreening for Fingerprint, Child Abuse and State Police Clearances.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, lift or assist in lifting an individual in an emergency. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and demonstrate flexibility. Must be able to see with visual and listen with hearing acuity. Must have strength and manual dexterity, including grasping and manipulating small objects, to operate medical equipment appropriately. Must be able to respond in an emergency.
