Role:
Join Shakti Investments Inc as a FedEx Line Haul Team Driver and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in logistics. This role offers the opportunity to drive long distances while ensuring timely deliveries, all within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate FedEx line haul trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently. Adhere to all federal and state driving regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and freight deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members. Ensure timely deliveries and pickups to meet customer expectations. Assist with loading and unloading freight as necessary. Stay updated on industry best practices and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Flexibility to work varying shifts and routes. Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
