Box Truck Driver

Job Summary This is a Local position. Must have a flexible schedule . We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality , and adherence to all DOT traffic regulations. Must be able to pass a background check and clean MVR for at least 3 years. Responsibilities Operate delivery vehicles (26 ft truck) to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while following assigned routes. Perform routine DOT inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Load and unload goods, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks. Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and receipts. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process. Follow all DOT safety protocols and regulations while on the road. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and route navigation. Experience operating pallet jacks, or similar equipment is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage deliveries efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
