Role:
As a Route Driver at Arway Apron & Uniform Rentals Inc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our products to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to transport uniforms and related items to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. You will also be responsible for maintaining the vehicle in good condition, conducting regular inspections, and reporting any issues promptly. This position requires excellent time management skills to ensure deliveries are made on schedule. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our clients and the smooth operation of our logistics team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record..
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics role. Experience in customer service or client-facing roles. Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to deliver uniforms and other rental items to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips. Communicate effectively with the logistics team and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist in loading and unloading items, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
