Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and debris across construction sites. Skillfully operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery to assist in site preparation and ongoing construction activities. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical functionality and report any maintenance needs promptly. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Assist with site setup, material loading/unloading, and debris removal to keep the work area organized and efficient. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively. Maintain detailed logs of hours worked, materials transported, and equipment maintenance records. Experience Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction or heavy civil environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Hands-on experience with construction site operations including grading, paving, tankers, and water trucks. Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is preferred. Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
