Local Driver:

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented Local Driver to join a growing logistics team in Pittsburgh, PA. The Local Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a tractor and trailer to transport freight to customers accurately and on time. This individual will serve as a professional representative of the company by providing outstanding customer service while ensuring safe and efficient deliveries. Position Responsibilities of the

Local Driver:

• Operate a commercial vehicle transporting freight safely and efficiently to customer locations
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly prior to departure
• Deliver excellent customer service by handling deliveries professionally and addressing customer concerns when needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow all DOT regulations along with company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate driving logs, route documentation, and cargo records
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and transportation issues
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company Position Requirements of the

Local Driver:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in resident state
• Hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to meet all DOT and company requirements
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions without risk to self or others
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Impeccable customer service skills and professional attitude
