The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient towing services while ensuring the safety of both vehicles and customers. This role requires strong customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle various towing situations with professionalism. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and manual transmission vehicles, to transport disabled or improperly parked vehicles. Load and unload vehicles safely and securely, ensuring minimal damage during the process. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, and managing any conflicts that may arise. Conduct basic mechanical inspections of vehicles to ensure safe towing operations. Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including vehicle condition reports and mileage logs. Respond promptly to towing requests from dispatch or emergency services. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on duty. Perform routine maintenance on tow trucks as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge for minor repairs. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid driver's license and appropriate endorsements. Familiarity with automotive repair and mechanical systems is highly desirable. Experience in conflict management to handle challenging situations professionally. Previous experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients effectively.
