Water Hauler truck driver

Part-Time Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Water Truck Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for operating a water truck to support construction, roadwork, and industrial projects by controlling dust, transporting water, and maintaining safe site conditions. $500 bonus after 3 weeks with no call outs.

Responsibilities:

Operate a water truck to distribute water for dust control and soil compaction Fill truck tanks from approved water sources and ensure proper handling Spray roads, construction sites, and work zones as directed Perform routine vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip) Monitor water levels and ensure proper pump and spray operation Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws on and off job sites Maintain accurate logs of routes, usage, and maintenance Communicate with supervisors and crew members to coordinate tasks Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately

Requirements:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class B or A preferred) Clean driving record Valid medical examiners certificate Previous experience operating water trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred Ability to operate manual transmission Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions Pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in construction, roadwork, or site preparation Familiarity with water distribution systems and spray equipment OSHA certification (a plus)

Schedule:

Truck works Sunday to Saturday, Specific schedule dependent on your availability and work needed. Day and/or night shifts depending on project needs
