Commercial Drivers License Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and heavy equipment to transport materials, equipment, and goods efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, vehicle operation, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport materials and equipment. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or mechanical aids such as forklifts when necessary. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and vehicle maintenance standards. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities. Assist with the loading and securing of cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license. Mechanical knowledge of truck systems and basic vehicle troubleshooting. Hands-on experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading procedures. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual driving techniques. Strong understanding of load securing practices for various truck types. Excellent driving skills combined with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
