Eldredge, Inc. is a transportation and waste management company in West Chester, PA specializing in industrial and commercial clients in the mid-Atlantic region and nationwide. Some of our services include, but are not limited to: waste management, transportation, disposal, remediation and treatment processes, environmental consulting, field services, reporting, and compliance. OTR & Roll-Off Driver Responsibilities:
Daily work will involve operating CDL Class A vac trucks, van trailers, roll offs, and dump trailers out of West Chester, PA. Perform work in coordination with the Dispatcher and the Customer. Participate in any technical and safety training provided by Eldredge and abide by the guidelines presented. Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner. Complete required DOT logs, driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs), manifests, bills of lading, and environmental documentation accurately and on time. Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment and materials safely. Adhere to all traffic, health and safety, and environmental local, state, and federal regulations. Compile required daily paperwork. Perform other related tasks as assigned. Qualifications Driver's License CDL A Required with Tanker & HazMat Endorsements Must have 2+ years of experience with CDL A Tractor/Trailers/Roll-Offs Must be able to understand and follow written and oral instructions and assignments Must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment and annual physical examination Must be able to pass a Background/ Drug test (background goes back 7yrs) High school or equivalent educational requirement Basic computer, tablet, and smartphone skills including email, call/texts, searches, Microsoft products, Windows computers, GPS systems May occasionally require lifting up to 60 lbs; pulling/pushing, carrying, climbing, walking, standing, sitting, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, crouching; sit/stand for extended periods.
