Shipping & Receiving Associate Schedule:
6:30 AM•3:00 PM Pay:
$28•35/hour (based on experience) Type:

5-panel drug test & DOT physical required Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver / Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily transportation and material handling operations between local facilities and nearby customers. This is a hands-on role combining driving, loading/unloading, and shipping coordination responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform daily DOT/OSHA
inspections of company truck and complete required checklists Inspect and safely operate towmotor (forklift) equipment Load and unload freight, including heavy materials and core baskets Deliver materials between company facilities and local customers Transport cores and components between sites as needed Ensure samples are delivered to designated internal departments (CMM Room) Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time Support Shipping Coordinator and Shipping/Receiving functions as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and vehicle Follow all company safety procedures, including 6S standards Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Required:
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Ability to read, write, and understand English Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work overtime when needed Preferred:
High school diploma or GED Prior experience in manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or local delivery driving Familiarity with safety programs (OSHA, 6S practices) Skills & Competencies Safe operation of CDL vehicles and towmotor equipment Loading/unloading freight and material handling Vehicle and equipment inspection (OSHA/DOT compliance) Basic math and work order comprehension Accurate documentation and paperwork completion Strong communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment Work Environment This role operates in a manufacturing setting with moderate to loud noise levels and exposure to varying temperatures. Employees must wear required PPE at all times and follow safety protocols when working near machinery, moving parts, and industrial materials8 Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wrightsville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00•$70000.00/yr.
