In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating flatbed trucks to transport freight across various routes. Your expertise in driving flatbed trucks, will ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while maintaining the highest safety standards and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate flatbed trucks. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up, adhering to schedules and traffic laws. Manage documentation related to deliveries, including logs, bills of lading, and inspection reports. Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered on the road. Ensure proper handling of freight, including securing loads on flatbeds Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not mandatory; training available for qualified candidates. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety regulations governing commercial transportation. Strong understanding of truck maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting skills.
