This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver freight efficiently and safely across various locations, ensuring timely load and unload operations. As a key player in our logistics network, you'll be responsible for transporting a variety of cargo, including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other freight types. Your expertise in commercial driving and route management will help us maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely operate a 26FT straight truck on OTR routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining fuel efficiency and safety standards Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit and ensure compliance with weight limits for different trailer types Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, load details, inspection reports, and logs for compliance purposes Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with route management and freight handling Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial trucking and freight transportation Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper securing techniques Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence Physical ability to handle cargo loading equipment and perform inspections as needed Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering excellence on every mile!
