About us Big Jims Towing is a small, locally owned company in Spokane, WA that is servicing the greater Spokane/CDA area. Pay is commission based per tow, depending on experience. Our company is growing and thriving and is in need of a driver to run the weekend tows.
Company Overview:
Join our dedicated team at Big Jim's Towing, where we prioritize exceptional service and a positive work environment. We're looking to add a full time Tow Truck Operator who thrives on helping others and is ready to make a difference every day.Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and efficiently to service calls.
- Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles.
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics as needed, and perform roadside assistance.
- Provide excellent customer service during client interactions.
- Safely operate tow trucks, maintain cleanliness, and perform pre-trip inspections.
- Use mechanical knowledge to secure vehicles for transport.
- Responsible for some tools, with guidance provided during training.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications:
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
- Must live in one of the following areas: Spokane County or Post Falls (NO
EXCEPTIONS
).- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Proficient in driving and operating tow trucks, or similar commercial vehicles, effectively.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle vehicle issues.
- Strong customer service skills for professional client interactions.
- Be able to bring home and securely park company truck (up to 33').
- Capable of lifting 65+ lbs and sitting/standing for extended periods.
- Proficient with smart phones, apps and GPS.
