In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will help keep our supply chain moving smoothly. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and roll-off containers with precision and care Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Manage route driving responsibilities while maintaining punctuality and delivering excellent customer service Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or roll-off trucks to prevent shifting or damage during transit Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules and report any issues promptly Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route management Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation and tractor-trailer systems Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or manual methods when required Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and efficient route driving Capable of performing vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks regularly Effective communication skills to coordinate with dispatch teams and customers Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a real impact!
