Role:
The NEB Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods across designated routes within Rhode Island. This position requires a professional driver who is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations. The driver will be responsible for managing delivery schedules, handling cargo with care, and maintaining accurate records of trips and deliveries. Ultimately, the NEB Driver contributes to the overall success of the logistics operation by delivering exceptional service and upholding the company's reputation for reliability and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to assigned destinations within scheduled timeframes All employees must be willing and able to perform both delivery driver and warehouse duties as needed. Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage and secure loads according to safety standards Merchandise products on shelves and in coolers Pick up all empty containers, including kegs and unsellable products, and credit customers for the same Collect and organize all delivered invoices to be submitted to the office Properly maintain company vehicle. Daily, maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle. Communicate problems, issues, and opportunities to the management team Consistently maintain personal behavior that meets the core values and standards of the company to include integrity, professionalism, hard work, commitment, and teamwork.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
All trucks must be loaded in time for next day delivery and checked prior to leaving the building
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle class being operated. Class B Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents. Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening. Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations Proven experience in operating commercial vehicles safely and responsibly. Ability to use a handtuck. Ability to lift 20-40 pounds Ability to walk up and down stairs/ramp to deliver products Must be able to drive a truck in excess of 26,000 pounds
MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operation, set-up, inspection, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation. AND/OR operate mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Ability to ascend and descend stairs and traverse small spaces, remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, move about to access materials and equipment to perform job duties, operate basic tools, communicate with customers and co-workers, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
