MOBILE PREGNANCY CENTER DRIVER TEAM MEMBER

General:

Pro-Life Charleston is seeking to hire a Driver for the mobile pregnancy center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing for the overall care of the mobile facility and non-medical equipment. This is a part-time position in the Charleston Metro Area of South Carolina.

Ministry Purpose:

This position plays a role in achieving the religious mission of the clinic and, thus, has a ministry purpose.

Qualifications:

Agrees with the center's statement of faith, mission statement, and code of Christian conduct. Is dependable, stable, and capable of committing to this position's responsibilities and duties. Believes in the sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception through natural death. Has a sincere, mature faith and can share the gospel. Is in good standing in the community and is duly licensed in SC, with no moving violations for the previous 5 years. Exhibits strong interpersonal, and spiritual, skills, takes initiative, and is flexible. Physically mobile, has good eyesight or corrected vision, good or corrected hearing, and can lift 45 pounds. Willingness to learn and become competent driving and maneuvering a 40' RV-type vehicle.

Reports To:

Mobile Pregnancy (Nurse) Manager or Director.

Time Commitment:

As per the hiring agreement.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Works well with clinic staff. Performs and vehicle and non-medical equipment checks of paper and fluid levels, pressures, temperatures, etc. Adjusts paper and fluid levels, pressures, temperatures as required by the staff and within the equipment and vehicle specifications. Informs the manager of needed materials/supplies. Grows in knowledge and skill competence for medical procedures performed. Completes necessary forms and logs. Ensures that HIPAA guidelines are followed. Follows up with the manager when there is a major deviation in operating parameters. Having a SC CDL license is a plus. Having a SC CW permit is a plus.

Upholds the center's policies and procedures. Supports the religious mission of the center. Participates in shared prayer and devotions as opportunities arise. Serves with a heart of mercy, grace, and love especially for helping moms in crisis and saving babies. Is an ambassador of the Christian mission of the center to supporters and the public at large.

Compensation:

This is a 1099 part time position. The facility operates Monday through Saturday between 8 AM and 8 PM. Both the days and hours are flexible and dependent upon both the demand of the clients/patients and the availability of the medical staff. The successful candidate will work up to 4 hours per day and receive $60 for 4 hours.
