In this role, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance and towing services to customers in need. The ideal candidate will have experience towing, possess strong mechanical knowledge and excellent driving skills, ensuring safe and efficient transport of vehicles, and able to work with short notice especially on Saturdays. This position requires operating a flatbed tow truck, double towing, hauling vehicles, a commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various towing situations with professionalism. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other types of towing equipment, to transport vehicles safely. Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process. Perform basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle issues before towing. Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery. Maintain accurate records of services provided and communicate effectively with dispatch. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure they are in good working condition. Skills Proficient in operating tow trucks and familiar with manual transmission vehicles. Must have clean driving record. Strong background in commercial driving with valid driver's license. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair techniques. Ability to load and unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
