Job Description
Transportation Associate (Non-CDL Driving) Mission Help transport, handle, and organize the specialty inventory that powers Richmond Auctions. This role supports logistics, warehouse operations, and deliveries that ensure auction merchandise moves safely from pickup to warehouse to auction floor. What You'll Do
- Transport auction inventory locally, regionally or coast to coast as needed using non‑CDL vehicles (sprinter vans, box trucks, pickup trucks with trailers).
- Safely load, unload, and secure specialty inventory during pickups and deliveries.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing inventory within the warehouse.
- Support warehouse logistics and movement of items across company facilities.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
- Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT transportation guidelines.
- Assist with auction setup, breakdown, and customer item pickup as needed.
- Support other operational projects and duties as assigned. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Experience operating non‑CDL delivery vehicles such as sprinter vans, box trucks, or trucks with trailers.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, delivery, or moving experience required.
- Strong attention to detail when handling specialty inventory.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to pass background screening consistent with company security requirements. Security & Compliance
- Employees must follow all company inventory control and facility access procedures.
- Adherence to company safety, security, and operational policies is required.
- Role requires maintaining professional integrity and reliability in all logistics operations. Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move items up to 100 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Perform frequent loading and unloading of trucks and trailers.
- Safely handle large or fragile items.
- Be physically capable of performing warehouse and delivery duties safely. Position Details
- Full‑time position.
- Based at Richmond Auctions headquarters in Greenville, SC.
- Local, regional and/or national travel required for pickups and deliveries.
- Additional hours may be required during major auction weeks.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:
