Your Mission & Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, interview, and select top-tier CDL and Ready Mix Operator candidates Lead engaging and impactful new hire orientation and onboarding programs Train and develop Ready Mix Drivers/Operators on safety, quality, and operational excellence Mentor, manage, and support plant-level trainers, ensuring consistent and high-quality training across locations Serve as the primary point of contact for candidate experience, coordinating with recruiting and HR teams Travel regionally to evaluate training effectiveness, provide coaching, and support field teams Promote and uphold SRM's 5

Qualifications:

Proven experience in training, coaching, hiring, or leadership roles Strong passion for employee development and mentorship Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Ability to build trust, provide feedback, and develop high-performing teams Experience working with or understanding CDL drivers, trucking, or construction operations CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred for credibility and hands-on training Proficiency with technology and systems (email, scheduling tools, training platforms, applicant tracking systems) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs and locations A mindset focused on culture-building, accountability, and continuous improvement
