Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial trucks across local and regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Drive a variety of truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight efficiently Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring secure handling of freight Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels Plan optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries while managing driver logs and compliance with Hours of Service regulations Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, delivery receipts, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries, providing exceptional customer service Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license Class A(CDL) with endorsements relevant to the truck types operated (e.g., refrigerated, tanker) Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; prior delivery driver experience is highly valued Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles with confidence and precision Familiarity with different trailer types including flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off truck Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment such as forklifts or manual methods when necessary Strong knowledge of route planning and driving regulations for commercial vehicles Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road Join us in delivering excellence every mile!
