Responsibilities Safely operate roll-off trucks. Load, transport, and unload dumpsters at various locations with precision and care. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients to coordinate delivery schedules and address any special instructions or concerns. Maneuver heavy trucks through tight spaces and challenging terrain while maintaining safety at all times. Assist with manual lifting of dumpsters when necessary, ensuring proper techniques to prevent injury. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records. Requirements Proven experience driving commercial vehicles such as roll-off trucks. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL license preferred but not mandatory depending on truck type.
