Job Description

About the Role As a Class A Commercial Driver, you will play a vital role in our supply chain by ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods between our production facilities and distribution centers. You will leverage your expertise in vehicle operation and load management to maintain seamless logistics flow while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Operate semi-trucks and trailers to transport materials safely between manufacturing and warehouse sites. Execute precise loading and unloading procedures using sit-down forklifts to maintain operational throughput. Maintain strict compliance with all DOT regulations and equipment inspection protocols to ensure road safety. Manage digital documentation and reporting through internal computer systems to support accurate inventory tracking. Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to coordinate timely arrivals and departures. Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure equipment reliability and performance standards are met. Qualifications Required Skills Valid CDL-A license and current DOT medical card. Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience in local or OTR capacities. Proven ability to operate industrial equipment, including sit-down forklifts. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Strong proficiency in basic computer systems and shop math. Preferred Skills Prior experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment. Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and adapt to shifting operational variables. Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail-oriented task management.
