Job Description:
As a Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver at Averitt, you'll enjoy the consistency of knowing your customers and shipments, providing you with a predictable schedule and reliable pay. Unlike other driving jobs, you'll have a clear understanding of your miles, hours, and earnings each week- no surprises.
Competitive Pay:
Average $1,774 per week ($85,465 per year) Starting pay: 65 cpm Average of 2,300 miles per weekAdditional Earnings:
Stop pay: $20 per stop (average 15-20 stops per week) Company sponsored per diem programWork Schedule:
Home weekly: Sunday- Friday Average 50 hours per week
Job Details:
Drive a sleeper cab delivering appliances and furniture with liftgate at customer location Unload products and move into the delivery location warehouse/building with hand truck or pallet jack as needed Coverage area includesAL, FL, GA, KY, OH, IN, MO, AR, OK, LA CDL-A

Drivers must live within a 100-mile radius Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years Drivers must have Class A CDL Must be 21 years of age or older Must have Class A CDL No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years No serious violations within previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too close, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality) No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years Essential functions: Load freight- lift requirement: 80 lbs Unload freight
