Propane Service Technician

Busy, family-owned propane company is seeking a reliable and experienced Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work and can operate independently with accuracy and professionalism. As a Propane Service Technician, you will be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and service of propane tanks and systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely install, service, and repair propane tanks, lines, and related equipment Perform system leak checks and safety inspections Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in the field Ensure all work is done in compliance with applicable safety codes and company policies Communicate effectively with customers and office staff Maintain accurate service records and documentation Provide top-notch customer service that reflects our family business values

Requirements:

Must hold a valid CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement Prior experience in propane service or HVAC/plumbing is preferred but not required•we are willing to do extensive training Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail Must pass a pre-employment drug test Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and lifting up to 75 lbs Strong communication and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction Willingness to work on-call periodically
