Required Experience:

3 years of driving Job Summary Fleet owner seeking a dynamic and skilled Fleet Driver with a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to operate a manual transmission truck southeast regional short runs. This role involves hauling a variety of fright types, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dry van and other special trailers in a Kenworth T700 Semi truck. As a Fleet Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Your expertise in manual transmission driving combined with your dedication to safety and efficiency will contribute significantly to our logistics operations. Duties Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, and other freight types to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning of all systems. Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while managing route driving schedules effectively. Electronic logs for hours of service, freight delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries smoothly. Drive the shorter hauls in TN, AL, KY, GA, MO, IL, AR, NC, and SC. Skills Proven experience operating manual transmission trucks in a commercial driving environment. Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety standards for tractor-trailers and freight transportation. Familiarity with different types of trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds and dry van trailers preferred but not required. Excellent route planning skills with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and punctuality. Experience with delivery driver responsibilities including load securing and documentation accuracy. Physical ability to handle the demands of long hours on the road and perform vehicle inspections thoroughly.
