Your expertise in driving, load & unload procedures, and vehicle maintenance will ensure timely deliveries and exceptional service. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, and dump trucks with manual transmissions. Drive assigned routes within the local area, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and report any issues promptly. Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining accurate documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any unforeseen delays. Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks to keep trucks in optimal condition for daily operations. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience operating manual transmission trucks. Proven truck driving experience, particularly in local route driving and freight delivery. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo handling. Excellent route planning skills to optimize delivery efficiency within the local area. Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving.
