Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Your expertise in manual transmission and truck driving will ensure timely, safe deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and freight requiring specialized handling Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel usage and vehicle maintenance Load, secure, and unload cargo accurately to prevent damage or loss during transit Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a valid CDL A license Demonstrated ability to operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Familiarity with freight handling procedures including load & unload operations Experience in route driving with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Knowledge of manual transmission operation in a commercial setting is highly desirable Ability to use equipment such as forklifts for loading/unloading when required Prior experience with refrigerated cargo or specialized freight is a plus Join us to drive your career forward in an energetic environment where your skills make a real impact!
