Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, dedicated, and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating single axle cable pull truck to transport waste materials and roll off dumpsters. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to climb in and out of large truck multiple times. The Roll Off Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring customer satisfaction . CDL license is required. Must be willing to work occasional overtime to ensure daily routes are complete. Duties Operate single axle cable truck to pick up and deliver containers at various job sites. Load and unload containers, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during transport and delivery by using Docket app on cell phone. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and any issues that arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while on the road. Clean and maintain vehicle, as necessary. Provide excellent customer service through a friendly approachable attitude and strong communication skills. Requirements Must have CDL. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to perform some heavy lifting and climb in and out of truck consistently throughout the workday. Proven track record of safe driving practices with a clean driving record. Experience in loading and unloading materials efficiently. Will need smart phone.
