We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Haul Driver to support our Southeast regional operations. This role is ideal for a driver who takes pride in moving oversized and overweight equipment safely, professionally, and efficiently. Position Overview This position primarily involves transporting heavy construction and drilling equipment throughout the Southeast. Approximately 99% of routes are south of the Ohio River and east of the Mississippi River. Most drivers are home most nights and weekends , though some overnight travel is required depending on project schedules. Key Responsibilities Safely transport oversized and overweight loads throughout the Southeast region Load, unload, secure, and inspect equipment before transport Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections Ensure compliance with all applicable DOT , FMCSA, and company safety requirements Operate safely on highways, construction sites, and off-road conditions Coordinate with operations and field personnel regarding delivery schedules and equipment movement Maintain accurate trip logs, inspection records, and required transportation documentation Qualifications Minimum 5 years of verifiable heavy haul driving experience Experience transporting loads ranging from: 100,000 to 200,000 lbs 10 to 12 feet wide Up to 120 feet in length Valid Class A CDL required Tanker endorsement required Double/Triple endorsement required Strong understanding of load securement, permitting, routing, and safety compliance Ability to load and secure construction equipment safely Stable work history with strong professional references Willingness to travel overnight when needed Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic What to Expect Home most nights and weekends Approximately 50% local / in-town travel and 50% overnight travel , depending on project demands Steady, year-round work Company-provided uniforms Modern, well-maintained equipment Per diem provided for overnight travel Join our team if you're ready to bring your expertise to challenging projects while advancing your skills in a supportive environment.
