Zamboni Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Zamboni Driver to join our team at our ice rink facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the ice surface in optimal condition, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all skaters. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate heavy machinery safely. We are seeking both part-time and full-time Zamboni Drivers. Duties Operate the Zamboni to clean and resurface the ice rink before and after scheduled events. Perform routine maintenance on the Zamboni, including checking fluid levels and conducting minor repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all equipment is stored properly after use. Monitor ice conditions throughout events, making adjustments as necessary to ensure safety and quality. Assist with custodial duties related to the ice rink, including cleaning common areas and restrooms. Collaborate with rink management and staff to schedule resurfacing times around public skating sessions and events. Requirements Previous experience operating heavy machinery or commercial cleaning equipment is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the rink schedule. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required; experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is a plus.
