Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Route Driver to join our team in Pulaski, TN The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service throughout each route. This position requires a strong focus on timely deliveries, vehicle safety, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. The Route Driver plays a vital role in our logistics operations, supporting the seamless movement of products from our warehouse to customers. Responsibilities Safely operate a combination truck, and trailer or similar commercial vehicles along designated routes in Giles County . Deliver products to customers promptly while providing exceptional customer service. Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations. Assist with warehouse tasks including loading, moving, and organizing inventory as needed. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures when required. Handle heavy lifting during loading and unloading processes with proper safety procedures. Class A CDL holder. Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience in a commercial setting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience operating box trucks, forklift, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes or inventory items. Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with load & unload procedures. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting and vehicle operation.
