Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting construction materials to various locations. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a truck
- Transport materials to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and adhere to delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo appropriate equipment
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
Skills:
- Route driving experience with the ability to navigate efficiently
- Knowledge of various types of freight and their handling requirements
- Proficiency in operating different types of trucks
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, category 8 or more
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Truck Driver
