Job Description
Position Overview Blackrock Construction is seeking an experienced and dependable Heavy Haul Driver to transport construction machinery and oversized equipment using Lowboy and Cozad trailers . The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, experience securing heavy equipment, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Safely transport heavy machinery and oversized loads to and from job sites Operate Lowboy and Cozad trailers Load, unload, and secure equipment properly for transport Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and required paperwork Coordinate managers regarding schedules and deliveries Perform basic maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly Operate equipment safely in various weather and job site conditions Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Minimum 5+ years of heavy haul experience Experience hauling construction or heavy machinery preferred Knowledge of oversized load regulations, permitting and DOT regulations Experience operating Lowboy and Cozad trailers required Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening Strong understanding of load securement and safety procedures Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime Required Skills Experience with multi-axle trailers Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment Strong communication and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health benefits Paid time off Company-paid travel accommodations when applicable Per diem available for overnight travel Apply Today If you are a dependable heavy haul driver looking to join a growing construction team, we want to hear from you.
