Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. This is a dedicated route, Monday thru Friday. Home every day. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in handling freight. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailer, flatbed, dump truck, and tanker vehicles. Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations while following the assigned route. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklift equipment when required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays during transport. Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations while on the road. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in route driving and familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to operate various truck types including dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery logs. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
