Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Operator and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient operations across various towing assignments. Your mechanical expertise and driving skills will help keep our roads safer and our customers satisfied. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Conduct automotive diagnostics and basic repairs to assess vehicle condition before towing. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches, ensuring secure handling at all times. Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, including vehicle condition reports, location details, and customer interactions. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, addressing concerns professionally, and managing conflict situations effectively. Follow safety protocols rigorously during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries on site or on the road. Assist with mechanical troubleshooting or minor repairs when necessary, leveraging your automotive repair experience. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Proficiency in operating tow trucks, flatbeds, forklifts, and other related equipment. Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmissions is preferred. Knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions (manual preferred), brakes, and electrical components. Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle challenging situations professionally. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Mechanical mechanic experience is a plus for troubleshooting vehicle issues during recovery operations. Pay:
$876.10 - $1,055.09 per week
