Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and customer service skills, with the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbed models. This role requires a commitment to safety and professionalism while assisting customers in need of roadside assistance or vehicle recovery. Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and manual transmission vehicles, to transport vehicles as needed. Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring NO damage during the process. Perform routine maintenance checks on tow trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle problems on-site when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs during roadside assistance calls. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including vehicle details and customer interactions. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road or at job sites. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on vehicles. Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Previous experience in towing or roadside assistance is advantageous but not required. MUST be able to pass a DPS and Disa background check as well as obtain a TDLR license.
