Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL Driver and take charge of delivering freight safely, efficiently, and with a focus on customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance needs are addressed promptly. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and route details in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise on the road. Follow all safety protocols related to freight handling, load securing, and vehicle operation to prevent accidents or damages. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving Ability to tie down loads Strong understanding of DOT regulations related to commercial trucking operations. Physical ability to perform duties that may include lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections. Must pass drug test 1099 employee
