Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations. In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring prompt response to roadside emergencies. Your mechanical expertise and driving skills will help keep our community moving smoothly, all while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely. Assess vehicle conditions using automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to determine the best towing method. Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring minimal damage during transit. Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate timely assistance. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment such as forklifts to ensure safety and operational readiness. Manage conflict situations professionally when dealing with distressed customers or challenging roadside scenarios. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and service reports for accountability and compliance. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Ability to obtain a TDLR IM License Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive repair techniques is highly desirable. Ability to load & unload vehicles securely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude during stressful situations. Conflict management skills to handle difficult interactions professionally and calmly.
