Transportation Driver / Route Driver

In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles—including mini vans and passenger van—to transport passengers of all ages, including children, seniors, and individuals with special needs. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking, providing support to children, seniors, or individuals with disabilities as needed Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by conducting regular mechanical checks and reporting any issues promptly Communicate clearly with passengers using effective English skills; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse communities Manage behavior on board through positive behavior management techniques to ensure a safe environment for all riders Follow all safety procedures during routes, including emergency response protocols and incident reporting Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger questions and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Experience Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving with a valid driver's license suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for larger vehicles) Familiarity with passenger/ route driving is highly desirable Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities such as bilingualism are advantageous for serving diverse populations Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues Experience working with children, seniors, or individuals requiring special care demonstrates your ability to handle sensitive situations effectively Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain order and safety onboard Prior customer service experience that highlights your friendly approach and problem-solving skills Join us in delivering reliable transportation services that connect communities!
