ABOUT THE ROLE

Riceland Healthcare Systems is seeking a highly reliable, professional, and discreet individual to serve as an Executive Driver & Field Associate. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of company executives, shareholders, and guests — while also serving as a calm, professional presence in the field. Beyond driving, this role occasionally extends into other company-facing tasks as directed — such as supporting corporate events, representing the company at community outreach activities, or handling time-sensitive assignments on behalf of leadership. The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, adapts readily, and is comfortable being a trusted extension of the executive team. Day-to-day coordination is managed through Riceland's executive assistant team, who will keep you informed, prepared, and aligned at all times. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transport executives, shareholders, and guests safely and on time across the Houston metro and surrounding areas
• Conduct near-daily same-day round trips on the Houston-Beaumont corridor (approx. 85 miles each way)
• Maintain a composed, professional security presence during all outings and at destinations
• Be available and punctual for a typical day beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding around 7:45 PM — with some variation based on daily needs
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the company vehicle(s) — including interior and exterior appearance, fuel levels, and any other routine maintenance needs required to ensure the vehicle is trip-ready at all times
• Plan efficient routes and anticipate logistical needs proactively
• Assist with occasional field assignments as directed — may include event support, community outreach, or other company-facing tasks
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all conversations, destinations, and business matters observed during service ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SCHEDULE

• Typical hours: 10:00 AM
• 7:45 PM, with variation based on daily needs — some days start earlier and some run later
• Most weekends are included — this is not a Monday-Friday position
• Frequent near-daily drives to Beaumont and back within the same day
• Time off is available and flexible — typically 2-3 consecutive days at a time, spaced reasonably throughout the schedule
• The nature of this schedule is well-suited for individuals without significant obligations outside of work and who are interested in accumulating work hours to increase their compensation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driving record: Must be clean — no major violations, DUI, or at-fault accidents

• Experience:

  3-5 years of professional office experience or driving experience preferred

• Location:

  Must reside in the Houston metro area

• Licensing:

  Valid Texas driver's license required
• Background check: Criminal background check required prior to start

• Firearm:

  Texas LTC (License to Carry) preferred — not required

• Appearance:

  Professional dress and grooming standards required at all times
• Contract type: 1099 independent contractor — no overtime eligibility ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Extremely punctual and dependable, and reliability
• Calm and composed demeanor under pressure or in unfamiliar situations
• Flexible mindset and willingness to take on a variety of tasks beyond driving when called upon
• Prior experience as a personal or executive driver, or security professional is a strong plus but not required
• Strong familiarity with the Houston, TX area
• Self-sufficient during downtime — able to wait patiently and professionally without distraction or complaint
• Comfortable operating within a high-expectation professional environment with tight schedules resulting in prompt transportation between meetings without issue
• Polished personal presentation — this individual is a visible representative of the company ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

COMPENSATION

$23

• $25 per hour (1099 Independent Contractor) The upper end of this range is reserved for candidates who bring demonstrated experience in executive driving, personal protection, law enforcement, or a closely related field.

Candidates are responsible for their own tax obligations.
