Job Description

Stabil Drill, A Superior Energy Services Company, is a global company that provides tough, durable tools to support the energy industry in some of the most demanding drilling applications. We have the most talented team of knowledgeable people who work together to deliver on our promise of integrity, strength and innovation. Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Shop Technician to join our team in Conroe, Texas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Dismantle tools, repair, and reassemble for jobs. Assist in loading and unloading equipment while operating a forklift. Responsible for the cleanliness, pressure washing, maintenance and proper disposal of debris on property. Including general shop, breakroom, & cleanup Assist in special projects. Shop organization and supply storage. Including daily and weekly inventory. Receiving and distribution of supplies. Assist with the movement of tools Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment Operate a shop truck for local deliveries with a 20' trailer as needed. Follow established safety policies and procedures. On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled. Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures. Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.
Education/Experience:
Minimum of one to three years' experience in a related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred. Certification operating a forklift preferred. Clean Driving Record. Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
