In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring all operations adhere to safety standards. Your expertise will help keep our roads clear and assist drivers in distress, making a real difference every day. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely. Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best towing approach. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches, ensuring secure handling. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally. Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively while maintaining safety protocols at all times. Perform routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal functioning and compliance with safety standards. Assist with basic automotive repair or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary, leveraging mechanic experience and mechanical knowledge. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive repair tools. Experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic repairs. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management capabilities. Preferred qualifications include mechanic experience, familiarity with automotive repair processes, forklift operation skills, and hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics. Candidates should also demonstrate strong driving skills, knowledge of tow truck operations, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks confidently.
