FRIDAY - SUNDAY

(6:00 am - 6:30 pm) What we offer: Immediate Hire! Properly applies knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads.

LOCAL SHORT HAULS!

Essential Responsibilities:

Drives 1 ton or class 7/8 trucks to transport materials to and from specified destinations. Assists in loading and unloading truck as required. Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Maintain daily inspection log. Maintain telephone or radio contact with the plant to receive delivery or pick up instructions. Maintains a clean driving record. Works safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Ability to work closely with driver helper. Ability to drive standard Ability to read letters and numbers. Ability to communicate with the driver helper and the customer. Ability to use basic math such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
