Driver

The Driver at WER is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering equipment in full or partial loads while working closely with the dispatcher/delivery coordinator and delivery assistant. This position requires providing excellent customer service in a polite, friendly, and professional manner. The Driver may also assist customers with reservations, contracts, and inquiries as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs and maintain physical stamina for loading and unloading tasks.

Professionalism:

Must maintain a professional personal appearance and possess strong customer relation skills.

Valid Driving Credentials:

Must have a valid driver's license and be familiar with local roads; ability to read a map is essential.

Mathematical Skills:

Basic math skills are necessary for problem-solving related to delivery and inventory tasks.

Computer Knowledge:

Computer familiarity is preferred; training on rental software will be provided.

Communication:

Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly; the ability to speak additional languages is a plus.

Pre-employment Requirements:

Must pass a company drug screen if requested and maintain an acceptable attendance record.

Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and demonstrate patience in interactions.
